Certification to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is now a fundamental requirement of many UK leading food retailers and foodservice companies plus many Global food purchasers. Developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), the standard is designed to assess the ability of food processors to comply with food safety requirements and demonstrate due diligence.
Principal requirements of the Standard are the adoption of HACCP, a documented quality management system and control of factory environmental standards, product, process and personnel.
Within the first Italian packhouses that implemented it together with IFS, Agrimessina Srl organization is founded since more than 10 years on its requirements through a quality management system extended throughout the process: from growers qualification, to product entry, its packing and so on til the loading, with constant and punctual quality checks.
